We meet in the lounge bar of the\u00a0 Shottstown Miners’ Club <\/a><\/strong>– at 165 John Street, Penicuik, EH26 8AT, 01968 675875, – but please contact us here<\/a>\u00a0 for general folk club questions.\u00a0 The Lothian buses<\/a> 37\/37X and 47\/47X\u00a0 stop at the Club (first stop after Tesco!) , as does the First bus<\/a> 62\/62A.\u00a0 The Miners’ Club is on your left as you head through Penicuik from Edinburgh (ie heading South-West).\u00a0 It’s just before the Angle Park garage (which is on the right).<\/p>\n

There’s an excellent fish n’ chip shop<\/a> just past the Miners’ Club and several excellent restaurants in the High Street<\/a>, including Ghurka’s<\/a>, Mumbai Mero, <\/a>Spice of Penicuik <\/a>and Koshi’s<\/a> (Indian) and the Food Lodge<\/a> (Chinese).<\/p>\n
